Lansdown Golf Club

The golf course is a superbly conditioned course designed by Harry Colt, with superb views. Situated just three miles from the Georgian City of Bath. The clubhouse provides members and visitors with an exceptional experience of comfort, providing high quality food and wine, staff that anticipate members wishes, along with a first class professional’s shop with a qualified PGA instructor on hand.

The Project

After twenty years with the same fixtures, the new Pro at the time decided that the whole shop needed a refurbishment with a more effective sales layout. Aspen designed the layout which included free standing units. A combination of slat wall and display units was used to triple the available display area and allow a much wider range of products to be merchandised. A complete new counter design was created to accommodate the new EPOS and till systems.  Before the installation could happen the shop had to be completely cleared out and then the refit had to be achieved in a 48 hour period.

I was very pleased with Aspen’s whole approach to the project. The new design counter exceeded my expectations and the new layout has had an immediate impact on sales. The installers worked very efficiently whilst completing the refit and there was minimal disruption to the shops working hours. Thanks.
